UCF baseball continues to flex offensive muscles, powering past Miami

As UCF outfielder Andrew Williamson raced home from second base on a bunt single in the fifth inning, all Miami catcher Nolan Johnson could do was shake his head in disbelief. It was that night for the sophomore, who scored 3 RBIs, including a pair of runs on walks with bases loaded in the second and third innings as the Knights rolled to a 14-4 win over the Hurricanes Tuesday night at John Euliano Park. UCF (13-3, 0-0 Big 12) scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning as Williamson drove in an RBI on a triple off the left-field wall. He scored on an RBI single by designated hitter...

Things settling down for UCF coach Scott Frost after whirlwind return

When Scott Frost first stepped on the UCF campus in 2016, he was a fresh-faced 42-year-old looking to make his mark in his first head coaching job. Nearly a decade later, Frost is back with the program for his second stint, a little older and wiser. Everything about his return is steeped in nostalgia — from the campus to the Bounce House to the Wayne Densch Center that holds his office, where he once spent countless hours. “It felt weird being back, but strangely familiar, too. It was surreal,” Frost said during a 30-minute interview with area media at Nicholson Fieldhouse on Wednesday....
