After capturing a second straight American Athletic Conference tournament championship over the weekend, UCF softball is heading to the Tallahassee Regional in the NCAA tournament, it was announced Sunday night. The Knights will head north later this week to the NCAA regional that’s hosted by the national No. 3 seed Florida State. They’ll be joined by South Carolina and Marist in the regional. Hurricanes stay hot on the recruiting trail, adding defensive lineman Anthony Campbell and wide receiver Shemar Kirk

A day after adding Alabama transfer Tyler Harrell, the Hurricanes picked up two more commitments on Saturday. First, defensive lineman transfer Anthony Campbell picked Miami. Hours after receiving a commitment from UMKC 4-star transfer Shemarri Allen, UCF men’s basketball landed a pledge from a second top prospect out of the portal Thursday night. Wichita State guard Jaykwon Walton announced his intentions to join Johnny Dawkins and the Knights for their inaugural season in the Big 12 Conference.
