The Hurricanes and defensive line coach Jason Taylor tried to land defensive end Elias Rudolph before he committed in July, but Michigan was the blue-chip prospect’s preferred destination. But now Rudolph has changed his mind. The four-star defensive end flipped from Michigan to Miami on Saturday night, announcing his decision on social media. One of the top hitters in Hurricanes history is likely headed to the pros. The Washington Nationals picked Miami third baseman Yohandy Morales with the 40th pick in the MLB draft on Sunday night. A day after adding Alabama transfer Tyler Harrell, the Hurricanes picked up two more commitments on Saturday. First, defensive lineman transfer Anthony Campbell picked Miami. Later in the evening, junior college wide receiver Shemar Kirk committed to the Hurricanes. Both announced their commitments on social media.
