The senior nickelback suffered a “serious” injury, UM coach Mario Cristobal said after the Hurricanes’ blowout win over N.C. State on Saturday. Scott was wearing a walking boot on his right foot when he was on the field before the game.

Miami listed wide receiver CJ Daniels, cornerback OJ Frederique and defensive tackle Ahmad Moran Sr. as questionable for the game vs. the Mustangs.
Daniels is Miami’s No. 2 wide receiver this season. He has 351 yards and a team-best six touchdown catches.
