UCF gets commitment from 4-star receiver for 2026 class

UCF football picked up the first piece to its 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of 4-star receiver Keeyun Chapman on Saturday.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Chapman is a two-sport star at Jackson (Ala.) High School, where he plays varsity football and basketball for the Aggies.

This past season, Chapman played wideout and tight end, registering 546 yards on 18 catches with 9 touchdowns and a 30.3-yard average, helping Jackson to an 11-1 record and a spot in the 4A playoffs.

He also averaged 10.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 31 games while helping Jackson to the 4A state title and a 28-2 overall record.

“I love the university, the offensive coordinator and the coaches. I’m excited to join the Knights,” Chapman said in a video posted by scout Larry Rudolph on his X account.

UCF has nine commitments in the No. 21 class for the 2025 cycle per 247Sports composite rankings.

All verbal commitments are non-binding but can become official during the early signing period in December. For Chapman, that would be December 2025.
