A person was killed after a car crash with a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy late Monday night in Tamarac while the deputy was investigating a reported stolen car. The car was stolen from Margate and spotted in Tamarac just before midnight, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Tuesday night. A deputy crashed with a car unrelated to the investigation in the area of West Prospect Road and Northwest 31st Avenue, the news release said.
