With a breakout performance by freshman quarterback Malik Leonard, who accounted for five passing touchdowns. The nationally ranked Lions’ offense was unstoppable, while the defense posted a shutout, limiting Western to just 66 total yards.

The 15th Annual Florida Day of the Dead Celebration and processional took place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale. The free event included a festival at Esplanade Park, a Skeleton Processional along the Riverwalk, and a block party near Revolution Live. Highlights featured many performers, Mexican crafts, food trucks, and children’s activities. Sponsored by the city and other groups, the celebration is recognized as one of America’s top Day of the Dead events.
