An 11th-grade student at McArthur High School died Wednesday evening after he was apparently struck by lightning in Pembroke Pines, according to officials. Police identify man shot dead in Oakland Park on Saturday

The Broward Sheriff’s Office has identified Ammon Watson, 18, as the man who was shot and killed in Oakland Park on Saturday near the 2100 block of NW 28th Street.
