West Boca Raton star Javian Mallory commits to Hurricanes

West Boca Raton standout running back Javian Mallory is staying close to home.

The Sun Sentinel All-County pick committed to the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, choosing UM over Florida, Louisville and Notre Dame, among others. He announced his choice on social media.

Mallory, who contributed to the Bobcats’ title run last year, is a four-star prospect and the No. 22 running back in the class. He is listed as the No. 300 player in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports’ composite ranking.

Mallory racked up 676 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in seven games last season.

Mallory is the first running back in Miami’s class.
