NSU men’s basketball sets NCAA Div. II record with 81st consecutive home win

The Nova Southeastern men’s basketball team set an NCAA Division II record by winning its 81st consecutive home game on Sunday.

The Sharks, coached by Jim Crutchfield, defeated the visiting No. 23 Florida Southern Moccasins 103-89 at the Rick Case Arena and won the Sunshine State Conference tournament title for the fourth consecutive year.

MJ Iraldi, the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year, won tournament most valuable player honors as he scored a team-high 27 points, while adding nine rebounds, six assists, six steals and a pair of blocks in the victory.

Dallas Graziani, a graduate of Pembroke Pines Charter School, recorded his 15th double-double of the season, scoring 23 points with 11 assists and adding five steals to also earn all-tournament team honors. Iraldi and Graziani were joined in the honors by Ryker Cisarik, who scored 20 points and added 11 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season.
