High school football player from American Heritage suffers medical emergency during game
A high school football game between Miami Booker T. Washington High School and Plantation’s American Heritage School was halted and eventually canceled on Friday night after a player from Heritage suffered a medical emergency during the first quarter.
Medical staff from Heritage on the scene at Traz Powell Stadium on Miami Dade College’s North campus responded immediately when one of the team’s players collapsed on the sideline.
