Best in the NFL: Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill voted league’s No. 1 player by his peers
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was deemed best in the NFL, as voted by fellow players in the NFL Top 100.
After vying for the league’s first 2,000-yard receiving season and finishing with 1,799 in 2023, Hill got the No. 1 spot as the top 10 was unveiled Friday night on NFL Network.
Hill topped, in order, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett, Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones, 49ers tackle Trent Williams, Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
Hill becomes the first wide receiver to earn the No. 1 ranking in the NFL Top 100, which began prior to the 2011 season. He is the fourth non-quarterback to get the top spot, joining Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald (2019), Texans defensive end J.J. Watt (2015) and Vikings running back Adrian Peterson (2013).
Other Dolphins to land in the Top 100: Cornerback Jalen Ramsey (25), quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (36), running back Raheem Mostert (60), outside linebacker Bradley Chubb (62), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (63), safety Jordan Poyer (65) and offensive tackle Terron Armstead (67).
